Rota - In het licht van Jeroen Bosch

What kind of world has Jheronimus Bosch lived in? Can we relate to him? I have pictured his inside world and how he thought about the moral dilemma's at his time. To me, it is like a wheel. 'Rota': No 'up', nor 'down' no beginning nor an end. An endless progression.

In his way to give expression to his fantastic ideas about the modern devotion, he chose to be as explicit as he could be. I chose to do the exact opposite. Therefor  a non-figurative image with 'light' as  central concern.

This is the original design in paper. Difficult as it is, the translation to glass was already in my mind.....So many options. Curious?
The preparation of the glass, and of course the wheel, which is an original Stable Window. The Stable Window is made of six different windows formed like a leaf around the centre, the seventh part.
The finished result. Seven virtues: Prudence, Justice, Temperance, Courage, Faith, Hope and Charity. Charity is placed in the centre of the window, where i think it belongs.
Thanks for watching! =)
